2025 Edition - This explanatory document is subject to modifications. The system may be adjusted during the season to improve the competitive experience.
Introduction
Welcome to the official documentation of Masters League - Season 1. This system is designed to create a fair and equitable competitive experience for all players in the community.
The system is based on an individual ranking called SPR (ScreamingLAB Player Ranking) that determines each player's skill and participation in matches organized by the administration.
SPR System
What is SPR?
The SPR (ScreamingLAB Player Ranking) is a scoring system that evaluates player performance based exclusively on match victories organized by the administrators.
Key Features
- Points are awarded for victories, not for KDA
- The ranking is individual but can be affected by team performance
- Points are cumulative throughout the season
- Different formats have different scoring systems
Game Formats
Playoff Format
This format is only possible when there are exactly 4 teams available. It's a direct elimination system where each position awards specific points.
| Position | SPR Points | Description |
|---|---|---|
| First Place | 4 points | Tournament champion |
| Second Place | 3 points | Runner-up |
| Third Place | 2 points | Third position |
| Fourth Place | 1 point | Fourth position |
Important Note
Points are awarded individually to each participating player on the team. All team members receive the same amount of points according to the final position.
FFA Format (Free For All)
Format valid at any time, requires a minimum of 16 players. Points are accumulable - a player can win multiple categories.
| Achievement | SPR Points | Description |
|---|---|---|
| First Place | 3 points | Match winner |
| Second Place | 2 points | Second position |
| Third Place | 1 point | Third position |
| Longest Shot | 1 point | Player with the longest shot |
Accumulation Example
If a player finishes in second place and also has longest shot,
they will receive:
2 points + 1 point = 3 total SPR points.
Swiss Format
This format is used exclusively in official competitions when there are exactly 16 teams. It's a system that ensures balanced matches.
| Record | SPR Points | Description |
|---|---|---|
| 3-0 (3 wins, 0 losses) | 10 points | Perfect record |
| 3-1 (3 wins, 1 loss) | 8 points | Excellent performance |
| 3-2 (3 wins, 2 losses) | 6 points | Good performance |
| 2-3 (2 wins, 3 losses) | 2 points | Average performance |
| 1-3 (1 win, 3 losses) | 1 point | Minimum performance |
Team Points
In Swiss format, points are awarded to the team as an entity and are saved under the team name. All team members contribute to the collective score.
Ranking System
Global Individual Ranking
Each player has a global individual ranking that is constantly updated based on their performance in all organized matches. This ranking is fundamental for determining invitations to special tournaments.
How to climb the ranking
- Actively participate in organized matches
- Obtain good results in any format
- Maintain consistent performance
- Be part of competitive teams
Invitation System
Cash Tournaments
The SPR ranking determines who is invited to cash tournaments. This is the most important process of the season and requires detailed explanation.
Slot Progression
Invitation slots progressively increase based on participation in organized matches:
- Start: 5 invitation slots available
- Progression: Slots increase with community participation
- Maximum: Up to 56 players enabled for cash tournaments
Qualification Process
Advance Notice Required
The Administration team must announce matches that award SPR points with at least 2 hours advance notice.
Team Formation
Qualified players must form their teams in advance and request participation in the tournament. The process includes:
- Players within the top ranking receive invitations
- Players form teams (5 starters + 2 substitutes)
- Teams apply to participate in the tournament
- Administration verifies and approves teams
Important Rule
Players not in the SPR Ranking cannot participate in cash tournament teams. This ensures an adequate competitive level and maintains the integrity of the tournament with active and experienced players.
Team Requirements
For an 8-team tournament, the following are required:
- 8 complete teams
- 56 enabled players (5 starters + 2 substitutes per team)
- All players must be in the SPR ranking
- Teams must be approved by the administration
